TDF: A Proven Set of Highly Effective Tools
"TDF" is a tool that measures human perceptual differences. Built around the complex equation of interpersonal understanding, TDF contends that:
- People differ in how they perceive, understand and process information about the world.
- People perceive the world through three lenses: Thinking, Deciding and Feeling.
- Each person displays a pattern of relative strengths from these three perceptual lenses
- This pattern of relative strengths and weaknesses forms the basis for each person's interactions with the world around them, resulting in six primary patterns.
- There is no best pattern. Different types are simply different, and each brings talent and value to work and to life.
The TDF model allows us to assess the differences in how people see their worlds, and leverage those differences to bring value instead of conflict. These differences are critical to corporate success if one knows how to harness them to improve communications, strengthen teams and execute new ideas. |
